Refund & Return Policy
Our clear guidelines on digital downloads versus physical book orders.
Due to the immediate delivery and digital nature of downloadable files (PDFs, design blueprints, clearance charts), all digital eBook sales are final and non-refundable once purchased or downloaded.
We offer a 14-day return and refund policy from the date of physical delivery for any hardcopy design book.
Conditions for 14-Day Hardcopy Returns
To be eligible for a return on a physical hardcopy book, the following conditions must be met:
- The return request must be initiated within 14 calendar days of the verified delivery date.
- The book must be in its original, unused, and resellable condition with all protective shrinkwrap and bookmarks intact.
- Proof of purchase (Shopify order confirmation email or order number) is required.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the book arrived damaged or misprinted.
Damaged, Defective, or Misprinted Copies
If your physical book arrives damaged during transit or contains printing errors, please inspect your package upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours at support@kitchenind.com with your order number and clear photos of the defect. We will immediately arrange a free replacement or a full refund at zero additional cost to you.
Refund Processing Time
Once your returned hardcopy is received and inspected by our fulfillment center, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be automatically credited to your original payment method (UPI, credit/debit card, or netbanking) within 5 to 7 business days.

1. Digital License & Intellectual Property
All design books, layout blueprints, clearance charts, technical illustrations, and written materials available on this store are the exclusive intellectual property of the author and publisher.
- Single-User License: Each eBook purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user license for personal study and reference on your own residential design or renovation projects.
- Prohibited Uses: You may not redistribute, resell, share, upload to public file-sharing networks, sub-license, or republish any part of this work in whole or in part without prior written permission.
2. Professional Disclaimer
The clearance dimensions, ergonomics, and construction standards provided in our books are based on industry-standard architectural practices and manufacturer recommendations. However, because local building codes, plumbing regulations, and appliance specifications vary by region and municipality, readers should verify clearances against their specific local codes and manufacturer guidelines before beginning construction.
3. Order Acceptance & Pricing
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including availability, inaccuracies in pricing or product descriptions, or suspected fraudulent activity. Prices for all products are subject to change without notice.

Physical Hardcopy Shipping Timelines
For orders containing printed physical hardcover or paperback editions:
- Order Processing: Hardcopy orders are processed and packed within 24 to 48 business hours.
- Domestic Delivery: Ships via insured express courier and typically arrives within 3 to 7 business days.
- Tracking Number: A tracking link will be sent to your email and SMS as soon as your parcel is dispatched from our fulfillment warehouse.
